Certification Testing

The SOFEI Group, Inc. is an authorized testing center for Microsoft, iCritical Thinking and IC3. Certification exams are offered at our Alexandria training location and administered by a Testing Proctor. Certification exams are offered by appointment only.

Cocktails for Charity

Cocktails for Charity is an annual fundraising event filled with Flair, Food, Fellowship and Fun at our Alexandria or National Harbor training location. Event proceeds create stipends for women to use towards our training or certification exams. Stipends are distributed based on eligibility.

Economic Empowerment Soireé

A gathering for women seeking to achieve economic independence through wealth building. This event is held three times per year and facilitated by financial industry experts. Topics covered: Financially Fit at Any Age, Secret Pitfalls of Debt, Wealth within your Wallet, Legacy Wealth, and Increasing your Net worth.

MBE Lunch Seminars

MBE (Motivating Businesses & Employees) Are monthly lunch seminars held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm throughout the Washington region for women in need of a refreshed approach to triumph over the complexities of conducting business as an employee or entrepreneur.

Philanthropy in Your Community Reception

An annual reception held in November (National Philanthropy Month) to showcase the impact individuals and/or businesses have made in the lives of women through nonprofit organizations based in the Washington region. Honorees will receive The Philanthropist in Action Award.

SOFEI Champion Luncheon

Formerly The First Lady is an annual luncheon held in March to honor women of the Washington region that have decreased or ended the trend of poverty within their family and/or community through advocacy, education, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, or philanthropy. Honorees will receive a financial grant award from the Ambassadors for Economic Independence Giving Circle.
