
The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) program validates the proficiency of desktop computing skills by passing a certification exam in one or more of Microsoft's 2007 or 2010 Office applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or Access). MOS is offered online, in a one-day format, or over six-weeks.
Please note: The MOS Certification program is not available to the general public in the State of Maryland; however, it's available under contract and grants.
Women's Institute of Successful Entrepreneurship (WISE) - Is for women interested in gaining skills and resources to launch or expand their business through training, development, and coaching.
Savvy MOS Girls - Prepares high-school girls to gain recognition as a Microsoft Office Specialist by passing one or more certification exams in Microsoft Office 2010 suite (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access, or SharePoint). The program is offered as an after-school program, a summer camp, and Saturday Boot Camp.
VoicesUnheard - Is a leadership development and mentoring program for girls in foster care that reside in Prince George's County, Maryland. Program participants learn their leadership traits and self-management skills to overcome challenges that can inhibit them from succeeding as leaders in academic, work, or community environments.
